The Bible Workshop won’t give you finished articles; that would be something one would find at Biblista.NET.   Here one would find "How To’s" and links to web references.  The contents of this site were originally meant for those who have been working with me in the biblical apostolate.  So the site has materials in both English and Filipino.  The Filipino materials are found under "Mag-aral Tayo".  The materials in English will be found under categories in the English language.  For the moment, these are the majority.

This site is equipped with the Catholic Reference wp-plugin.  What the plugin does is to create popup windows for references to the Bible and the Catholic Catechism.  Just run your mouse over references to the Bible or the Catechism and the texts referred to are shown in a window.

You can also try running your mouse over the following catechism references

  • CCC 1256
  • CCC 1065

The materials here are offered as supplements to the articles found at Biblista.Net. The Filipino articles and those under "The Sunday Lectionary" were written for those who lead the bible cell groups in our parish and are guides for the preparation of the Bible study sessions they hold every week. These are extensions of Res Biblica’s "Sunday Thoughts".

CCC 1256
¶1256 The ordinary ministers of Baptism are the bishop and priest and, in the Latin Church, also the deacon. In case of necessity, anyone, even a non-baptized person, with the required intention, can baptize, by using the Trinitarian baptismal formula. The intention required is to will to do what the Church does when she baptizes. The Church finds the reason for this possibility in the universal saving will of God and the necessity of Baptism for salvation.
CCC 1065
¶1065 Jesus Christ himself is the "Amen." He is the definitive "Amen" of the Father's love for us. He takes up and completes our "Amen" to the Father: "For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why we utter the Amen through him, to the glory of God":

Through him, with him, in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, almighty Father, God, for ever and ever. AMEN.
